Data deletion instructions
Use these instructions to request deletion of information held by TaxiApps for the WhatsApp notification service.
How to make a request
- Email info@taxiapps.co.uk with the subject “WhatsApp data deletion request”.
- Include the taxi company name, the account email address and enough information for us to identify the connection. Do not include passwords, access tokens or payment-card details.
- We will verify that you are authorised to act for the company before deleting or disconnecting information.
What happens next
TaxiApps will remove or anonymise the account, connection credentials and service records that it controls, subject to information we must retain for security, legal, billing or dispute purposes. We will confirm the outcome using the verified contact details.
The taxi operator controls its passenger and dispatch records. Requests about that information may need to be made directly to the operator. WhatsApp Business accounts, phone numbers, templates and Meta billing remain under the customer’s control and can also be disconnected in Meta Business Settings.
